I'm running dual humidifiers in my room and am able to maintain 30-35% humidity (I have a gauge)....without the second humidiifer the room is around 20%. I run one year round because the climate is so dry here.

hopefully this cold will pass..I was sick for 3 weeks last year in a row and it sucked. I'm going to get some echanasia stuff tomorrow.

Lots and lots of water, rest and juice, the best are orange and cranberry. And if this is an annual thing, then you might want to consider getting the flu shot. Do not try going to work, or doing anything that requires you to be active, you are sick, do not be all macho and try and "work" the cold away. Just rest and you will be surprised how fast the cold goes away.

I think Gumball nailed it.

I like Theraflu Severe Cold, seems to help get over it sooner. Gargle with salt water for the sore throat.

Hans, just a wild guess here, but I bet your cold has something to do with your aforementioned "17 day work week." A sure way to stay healthy is to get plenty of rest and not have a 17 day work week

One of the most important things you can do is stay hydrated, so keep on the water. If your snot is running clear, that'* a good thing. Deep yellow or green snot could be a sign of a sinus infection (I mean golden yellow or green.... most snot is already kinda green or yellow) . Hope you nip it before it sets in for a week or two!

If you have problems coughing or sneezing, I suggest a healthy dose of Turbo Lax. You won't cough or sneeze afterwards.... if you like your underwear....
