From: "Upstate" NY. Where cows outnumber people

Got $50 gift card to Advance Auto, and home made cookies from my sister. Dad got me a Keurig before Thanksgiving when my regular one died. Its a great machine. I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but I like my coffee. This thing makes the best coffee, better than anything else I've ever owned. I also use it for tea and hot cocoa. I am definitely going to try brew over ice when we get to summer.
Got my dad a repair manual for the 06 Forester he just got. (More a gift for me, but still..) Also a cobalt screwdriver kit, and some good gloves.
Got my sister a home radio kit for her satellite radio, home multimedia dock and car dock kits for her Droid X2, as well as a good bluetooth headset for it.
Got one of the older ladies that works with me a scarf that takes those hunting handwarmer packs. Shes had cancer, and is always cold in the store, despite the extra heavy clothes she wears. I saw this when I was looking for gloves for my dad, and thought it would be perfect for her.
Got myself a new scanner, reads real time, records and graphs, plus this one will read ABS codes. Which I needed, since now I figured out that my front driver sensor is shot. Hence no traction control or ABS, on nearly bald A/* tires, in upstate NY, in winter. Driving is not fun. I've been lucky up till now that we hardly had any white fluff. At least that hub/bearing is still under warranty.
But, best of all, got to spend time with family on Saturday before having to work overnight Sunday into Monday.

we are all waiting to hear about the truck. Please wear the "Russian hat" when you surprise her with the truck.... Didn't Barney Fife wear a hat like that on cold days on Andy Griffith?
Body and interior is in mint shape. It was shipped up from South Carolina and has never seen a winter. It has about 102,000 miles on it but was meticulously cared for. I'm trying to upload photos right now but having a little trouble... currently reading the sticky on how to.
the truck didnt get done in time..Still isnt.i ended up finding more and more rust.so i had a **** ton of metal work to do.right now its sitting all sanded down i gotta get it in the booth and get it painted..
