The best present I got this year came from a total stranger. I rear-ended a 2003 Jaguar XJS last Wednesday. The driver made sure I was okay, then offered to let me sit in his car to warm up (mine wasn't driveable, busted radiator), and THEN offered me a ride the 30miles home. His kindness and consideration made my holiday season.

FYI, for those who're hoping that this put me back in the Bonn, my Neon is repaired (albeit two-tone...it'* now purple and silver) and back on the road. My Bonnie'* still in storage, next to a Ford Fairlane and a 'Vette Stingray (not mine, unfortunately).

Har har. :P

I suppose I should add in the rest of the extremely fortunate story as well...

A friend of the family donated all the parts we wanted (including ones we don't need, but are nice to have around as spares...including a 50,000 mile DOHC motor) off of a Neon of the same generation. My husband donated his time and talent to repair the car. My friends volunteered to take me to and from work until the car was fixed.

We're very blessed...and really lucky!

I had a Great Christmas.
Storm outside killed the internet connection for the last two days.

Thanks to Bill and all the other Hosers who kept this a secret.

That'* a stock S2 L67 TB. And the adapter plate necessary to mate it to the GenV blower.
