I found out, quite by accident, that my truck has intermittent wipers.

Took the Bonneville to work, but didn't get there. Delayed departure = parking lot on I-80, and motor was still acting up, so I turned around and came home to pick up the Navigator. Naturally, the boat and trailer were still attached, so drove the whole rig to work in stop and go traffic on I-80 and nearly rear-ended folks a couple of times. Someone ahead of me was driving kind of funny, leaving LOTS of room in front, not centered in lane... but they weren't towing a boat. lol
Towed boat home, but got call from my wife as I was getting on I-80, "When are you coming home?" Real soon if I don't have an accident talking on the phone, merging into traffic, towing a boat...
Tried more troubleshooting on Bonneville until the battery/alt crapped out again. I think I'm narrowing it down, kinda like Cat in the Hat looking for his three-handled family credenza.
