Ironic that this is the first post I read on BC while trying to keep a cat off my keyboard and mouse and away from my McFlurry :P

That'* pretty damned respectable!
Our oldest cat, Bucket(don't ask!), fell prey to liver problems at 19 about 9 years ago.
Right now we have four cats, two fairly close to kittenhood still, the other two are 14 and 13 respectively.
Unfortunately both older cats have major health problems, Doc(the 13yr-old) has FIV andis starting to decline, Baron, our oldest, has an enlarged heart, and we have to give him 6-8 pills daily, but he'* a good-natured cat and my Mom never has to try twice to get the pills down him, he'* probably got another 2-3 years of active life ahead of him.

OK, now I'm depressed, sh*t.

all you gotta do is make the most of it right now, thats what I do with my cat, cause I know since he is 20, he might not make it much further, but we keep hoping! He licked up antifreeze when he was about 4, it almost killed him, he spent 8 days at the vet, then came home, scarfed back two cans of Wiskas canned food, and he was good to go!
