what can i do
You might also want to look at upgrading your harddrive. I recently upgraded the hd in my laptop from a 40gb 5400rpm drive to a 60gb 7200rpm drive and the performance increase is AMAZING. What used to take 45-50 seconds from power on to welcome screen now takes 15-20 seconds. Best upgrade I ever did. Plus I got to use the old 40gb drive in a USB2.0 enclosure.
