What is this?
Yeah about that...My truck is my DD my toy and my work horse all in one..I drive about 200 plus miles a day on average...mostly in city with a car trailer hooked up so NO not yet lol
big loads and blocks dont go good together, it would be fine for a toy but the big trailer combined with increased torque on the springs will flaten your spings for sure. you should get some 2500 springs or re-arched half ton springs to get you a couple inches.
My truck has 3/4 ton Susp already..But well i think i only told Lucas(Wakefeildl) im retiring bubba as my hauler in and 500 miles so basically after friday hes done and im gonna use my plow truck for now untill i buy another truck...But he will still be my DD till snows gone and the maro comes out therefore 2" is fine for me
yeah im in the HD 1500 club as well
BUT jw does have a point..when i redo my suspension, im going to make my own custom leafs
and instead of the 6 that the truck has now..it shall prolly have 8 sitting on 3" blocks

ssei- you sound sad
wake- you can have a spring shop make you the proper load range spring and arch them so the truck setts up like you want with out blocks. I was looking around before i dont remember it being terribly expensive.
there is a guy thats got a truck like yours 2000 half dodge with more spings and its the worst riding truck ive seen. he hauls steel in it though so i guess you got to have it. he hasnt had problems with the drive train or diff just brake lines rotting out, but that happens to everybody anyway. the point is id rather have re-arched 1/2 ton springs and try to save some ride quality
