I got a quote from Rayco (w/o them seeing it) they said the most it should possibly cost is $800 or $900 for the Kammback, it should be a lot less for your car

I worry about engines that have done nothing but sit for very extended periods of time... But hey, if it runs, push it til it pops.

Ouch! Might be a bit of overkill on an $800 car (for me anyway). I'll probably try to attack it with carpet cleaner again. What'* another three hours of my time worth, anyway? I'll send my husband the bill.

That was for if there was no interior whatsoever, for you, I'd say 200-300

The dash still could use a wipe down but for the carpet I would suggest renting a steam cleaner that has a hose attachment. That would probably help the carpet the most.

Definately a sweet deal for 800 bucks though.

Great deal!! It looks almost identical to mine. Mine has 144k miles on it but we've done some mods and I'm happy with her.

Very nice deal, IMO. If it runs well and you get those 3-4 months, then anything after that is pure gravy I'd say.

Just remember, if it starts making wierd noises, it'* old enough with enough mileage that it is priveleged and allowed to do such things.

Looks like a great deal. Only things I would do would be check on the LIM issue.

Also, are you sure it is a 97? I thought 97'* did not have traction control on the DIC. Might have just been the GTP'* though, I am not sure.

And for an $800 car, I'd rock it all day long.
