Seems like a nice car. Saw one at the auto show the other day, but they wouldn't let anybody get too close to it.

They say it'* coming to Canada, but right now it'* on the Transport Canada prohibited vehicle list and can't be imported into the country. Waiting to see how this plays out.

Just like the GTO....never made it up here. Something about child seat restraints not being installed, must be an Aussie thing

Dealer just got them in and is taking orders...

Well after a quick drive of a GT............Dealer wouldn't let me drive it alone and would only allow a around the block test drive.

My BMW 745i is safe.....but why? Why is a 2002 bmw car safe from a 2009 GM? This car should have blown mine away : Guess my standards are too high? And guess what it didn't even have HUD as an option? isn't that like a Pontiac trademark?

Well for around $30k (according to KBB),

1: 6 year old BMW with no warranty
2: New Pontiac with 5yr/100k powertrain and more power

I'd go for the warranty.

No offense, Shadow, but not only is the G8 cheaper and faster, it'* also MUCH better looking (I realize it'* opinion, but a popular opinion with most people. Bangle sucks ), not every command is controlled by an annoying joystick and it'* got that "awesome" factor.

At this point, the same as yours. If you don't count the warranty on my new engine.

No I should not compare it to my current car but I just have seen so much advancement with new cars these days that I expected to be blown away. When the 1995 Aurora came out GM blew me away. I just wish they could make cars like that again.

Mine is CPO with bumper to bumper still remaining on the factory 100,000 mile warranty. I had no idea your car had a new engine.
