Default Went car shopping tonight.

I looked at a 2011 Cruze. I like the engine and power, the transmission seemed a bit lazy on the shifts. Not enough room for anyone to sit in the back seat once I get my seat where it needs to be. I did like the styling of the Black on Black 2LT I looked at, had all the options I wanted. I'd drive one, but I couldn't bring myself to pay the 23K for the LTZ that I would want, or even the 20K for the 2LT. Doesn't ride as nice as the Bonneville, no heads up display, little mirrors are hard to get used to. I like my boat...

Sister has a newer Scion TC with 20K miles still under warranty. She offered to sell it for 13K and let me drive it back from the dealership since she had picked me up from work. I like the car a lot, but my biggest pet peeve is that even with my work shoes I hit the gas and brake at the same time. I can drive the bonneville with boots and have no issue.

Hopefully the bonn comes back to life tomorrow night and I don't have to worry about it, otherwise I'm going to be driving the truck for a while.

Motor swap is ~$500 and 10 hours. Gimme a day and front the motor and it'* cake.

Ask Steve about how quick we dropped his subframe etc to pull the side cover. Man..even I was impressed with us.

That could be very dangerous. I don't see why car makers would put them so close together, the car can't be that small. I mean, I drive a small car, and that doesn't happen. Now the brake and clutch is a different story.

I've got a spare motor if this one is done, I'm just at a point right now where I don't have time or the mentality to deal with any of this. We will see how things go tonight, if she is dead then I'll be picking up my truck that only has 30K and driving it a while. The car will sit in a garage until I feel up to the swap.

and Sam, she lost oil pressure, and isn't very happy about it :P

2011 Malibu with the V6 is nice. I test drove one with the 2.4L Ecotech last night. I was told if I put the V6 in it I'd have the power I was used to from the Bonne. Seriously thinking about it.

Of course I'd get top of the line, LTZ. It stickers at $29k, but with rebates and trade in it would be lower.

I test drove a 2010 4cyl Malibu. I was not impressed with the car. The interior was too cheap.
