Default Went Bonne shopping...

First up a black '96 SE w/188k. Undercarriage was rusted badly. Dead battery so no start today.

Next up we have a green '97SE w/122k. Tranny cooling lines and Intake leaking badly (oil still good) Engine not sounding good but body/undercarriage in great shape.

Last up a Black '01GP GTP w/120k and an ABS light on.

I can actually get the GTP at a really good price. Do these suffer the same problems as the '00+ Bonnevilles? (Window regulators, intermediate shaft, heated seat elements)

Also what else to look for on these? Any known trouble area'*?

Taking guesses on the GTP price! :?:

3500.

For a car that needs engine work, you'd be hard pressed to get me to pay 2650 though. I do like the 97.... If only it were white.

the GTP doesn't need any engine work. I have yet to check the */c pulley.
wouldn't 3500 be a really really good price

If its just the ABS light, it could be something as simple as a hub replacement.

thats my thinking, or it was disconnected for torque management.

Pop, I have no idea what a good price for a GTP is, I just took a stab in the dark.

The engine work comment was in regard to the 97 needing it.

The only vehicle I'd pay ANY form of money for, that needed engine work, would be a Ford GT.

My ABS light is on and no known problems have occured. I would go with the GTP if you can get it at a fair price...

dealer or private seller?? that makes a world of diffrence... dealers will ask 100% of top book value no matter what condition its in... in this case.. about 8k private seller.. i would say about 4500-5000... but then again. ive seen them sell fo ALOT cheaper then that... i was at an auto aution no to long ago and i saw a GTP 4 door fully loaded cross the block for only 3k...
