I feel dead. I feel insignificant, like.... A doll used to confort somone when they felt lonely.

Im not alive anymore
Dude! Its one girl, its ok to feel sad and maybe question yourself on a few things here and there, but man....you'll be fine. Don't let anyone elses decisions ruin your life!

Its all bad...MAn-Whore???? LOL!!! Thanks for the giggle. But yeah...Im still set for college n stuff. So, I will try to move on. I know its gonna be quite the mission to get over it. Like I told her..." Dont expect anything from me right now, not a phone call, a text, nothing. I need time to try to figure myself out. I promise i will try to keep my emotions to myself and not call you for a while, but I cant promise that will happen. Because I too have emotions and they run pretty damn strong. So I leave you like this, I love you with all of my heart, mind and soul, Just remember who I am and What I have done. Dont forget about me. Goodbye Jaye."    :crying:

Dude, here's a little story for you. About 20 years ago I met this girl named Karen. Dated her for about 2 years. Really thought that she was the one for me. One day she writes me a nice little letter to tell me she doesn't feel the same way about me, doesn't want to see me any more, and, "oh, by the way I joined the army." Spent a few months completely devastated. I kept thinking she would change her mind. Ended up hanging out with an old friend from High School. Well a year later I get a phone call to tell me she was getting married...end of the line.

Me, I ended up married to my old friend from High School...and I've been that way for the past 18 years.

Did I still think about Karen...yeah, every now and then over the years I would run across something that would remind me of her. Swore off any film that had Molly Ringwald in it...bad memories. So yeah, ya never really get over the first "right" one.

But things have a way of working themselves out. I will not say they always work out for the best, but happiness is something you make for yourself..not something someone gives to you.

So, what happened to Karen? Four kids, two deadbeat husbands who left her, hospitalized for mental illness more than once, charged for neglect, on the brink of financial ruin, no career, no prospects. What a waste, but she did it to herself.

GOOD! And please DON'T change that for anything. I would suggest that you promise yourself that you not let a relationship play a part in your education decisions.

So, there are exceptions to the rule, but, really, most likely the girl that you meet at this stage in your life probably isn't going to turn out to be your mate. You owe it to your future mate not to make an education decision that, yes, will affect the rest of your life based on someone that you "dated" now.
