No, Autobahn is an upgrade from the standard package... It has 3.71 gearing for quicker acceleration, 140mph speed limiter, and came standard with V-rated tires. Look at the RPO codes on the bottom of your spare tire cover in the trunk. If you see QQX (tires) and FV4 (gearing), you've got Autobahn! Read this thread at ACNA for a discussion on this very topic:

The battery? IT'* UNDER THE BACKSEAT, and I'm not joking. I can't believe you didn't find it! Another ACNA thread:

Nice work Scotty!.. I deleted the pics that I had posted tho, but yes, its under the seat, you will feel two tabs (one one each side) push on the back of the rear bench, pull on the tab and lift from the front while pushing down...

sounds crazy but it works.

Unfortunetly I do not carry the Autobahn package. But found the battery and it looked very neat. What were the litlle tubes runnig from the top of the battery all the way down?

Because the battery is inside of the car it must be vented to keep gases from the battery building up and exploding inside of the car.

BTW, to remove my rear seat I just have to pull up on the back bench. No pushing, and no pulling of tabs of any kind. It just pops up when pulling on the front by the carpet. THe battery under the back seat makes it very nice for stereo systems.

Bummer on the no Autobahn, she'll give up at 110mph or so. But dont worry to much your tranny is geared at 3.48:1, still pretty high.
