hey all, i found this on craigslist last night and i emailed the guy and he still has it. so i was wondering if it was a good deal at all and if it would be a good starter truck for a first timer?
anyone know much about these?

Yup, they are fun. I have a Duratrax Raze my dad gave me. I have beaten the **** out of it, and it still goes. Mine'* down for now, I need a steering servo and tires. My dad has a Duratrax Warhead EVO.

how hard is it to do a tune up and such? because im cheap and i would rather buy this and fix it up than spend a bunch extra on a ready to run kit.

They are easy to work on. Replace the glow plug every so often, check the fuel lines, replace cracked ones, replace fuel filter if equipped. Othet than that, it'* fairly easy to maintain.
Also, you have to keep the carb tuned properly, too lean and it will pop the motor. Lean is good, but if it gets too hot, you will be shelling out $250 for a motor.
