lol...I paid too much for my 3500+ when socket 939 came out. I'm really looking foward to seeing how Intel'* Conroe comes out. I hope AMD can beat the Conroe in some way, I'd hate to have to buy the intel becuase it has better performance.

I don't even remember what I paid for my 3000+ in the desktop. Couple hundred I think. Wow, I guess that computer is over 3 year old now 
At home a laptop is all I use anymore... turned the two desktops into servers.

Laptop keyboards are the best thing...... EVER.
And on topic, yes AMD dropping prices = ggz.
And AMD owning ATI = potential revolution in the GPU/CPU world in the near future.
