..I'm still going to look at it. I've been wanting one for such a long time, and if the price is right and the body in good shape, it may very well come home with me

I originally had a '74 LTD 2 door Brougham, fully loaded. I had to get rid of it because I could not take it with me back to the states (Guam). And I keeping kicking myself for getting rid of it. This LTD is the last year of that body style, and last year for an LTD convert.
Don't feel bad. I will have to admit (hard to), but I actually like older Fords. (generally 60-72). I am still trying to get a '70 Torino GT I found that my grandma'* friends' boyfriend has. 68k original miles, olive green, 351 4V, and C4 or C6? tranny. It'* CLEAN and I want it.
Honestly I would prolly sell it or trade it for a Chevelle or Nova in the same year range.
