Yeah I had the "privlidge" (ok they forced us) of going to one of his speeches. I was pretty close but just out of spitting range. Something I noticed was that he'* really good at hyping up a crowd. Like it was said, don't hate someone because they tend to mess up speeches though. Pick one of the www.525reasons.com to hate him . Besides, we wouldn't have funny calendars and such if it weren't for him! I think personality is a fairly big issue to choose on, but I've met a lot of nice guys that'll stab you in the back.

Whenever I hear Canadians start to get acting all superior, I can't help but think of the movie "Canadian Bacon". Mmmmm, bacon....

Okay, my take on politics divided by percentages:

40%-Democrat
40%-Republican
20%-Actually give a damn and research who they vote for.

I'm proud to give a damn.

What a tard. It would be understandable if it was just once in a while, but seems like a conversation with Dubya is laden with grammatical gems like that.

I'm sorry but I think he'* a flaming idiot. I don't think John Kerry is the bees knees either but at least he'* not 'still eating paste'.

Um, we might want to refrain from getting into actual politics... That might turn out very, very bad :( Being that I'm a Republican, I could possibly take offense to what you said and get into an argument with you. That would just get ugly Just an innocent, bipartisan suggestion...

Is a person with a stutter less intelligent?
Do his speech patterns mean he'* stupid?
I've personally known some VERY intelligent people with speech impediments or even the inability to read.

I also know people that stumble over words like Bush does, but it doesn't reflect on their intelligence in my eyes. I can see beyond it.

And John Kerry is no better or no worse than Bush. These 2 guys are simply party figureheads and puppets. Comparing the two is ridiculous. You have to compare the parties that put them in the public eye, and compare their actual character and personalities. HOW they speak has nothing to do with anything.

Honestly-those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. I'd like to see everyone here stand up in front of a nation, knowing that everything is going to be reported to death, and give a perfect speech. I will be the first to tell you that, despite my schooling in public speaking, my average to above average intelligence and my over all self confidence, I couldn't do it....

At least in agreement. I'm comfortable talking to large crowds, but most people aren't. And alot of people never get over it. Major scrutiny has to suck.
