Default Warranty

This doesn't relate to bonnevilles inparticular but I was looking at my odemeter today and im at 59000km, now thats like 36 thousand and something miles, that means that the car has run out of warranty in the US but is still good in Canada. So if you are on a trip to Canada with your car that has run out of warranty in the US and you take it to a dealer here would you be covered?

I don't think so. The warranty would follow the regulations of the country/state/province it was issued in.

i presume you are talking about gm'* 3 year warranty. as was stated it goes by country of origin. here in canada its 3 yrs/60k. in the states its 3yrs/36m.

chrysler did the same with its 7/70 warranty. 70,000 miles=112,000 km but here in canada the warranty was 70/115.

so for once we canadians get a bit of a break from having to deal with the wonderful metric system! enjoy it!
