Default Warm photos on a cold day
I went out to the beach last night to take some photos just for fun.

The pictures look nice and warm, but I stood out in freezing 25mph winds to get these.

did u use a tripod?

I set it on one for the shot of the lump of driftwood by the waves. Otherwise no. It was all handheld.

Does that lake ever freeze about a 1/2 mile out from the shore. Lake Supurior is frozen out nearly 10 miles this year I think.

Usually it freezes quite a bit, but this year was a mild winter, so it didn't freeze much.
