I shop @ the local Walmart. But yes there is something about that store that turns many into complete idiots in the parking lot . A few months ago I was there with a friend and we were picking all kinds of stuff one being some attachments for his dremel.... Needless to say a Walmart worker walked up to us and said " I know your not going to steal that son." Then he followed us around the store the rest of the time we were there. That pissed the 2 of us off big time, granted we could have complained to management but the guy looked old as the hills. So we just let it be cuz he reminded us of that old grumpy neighbor who flips out if you touch his lawn.

Walmart is one of only two department stores in my little town.
We are all dependent on it. :(

One thing I hate about Walmart.....besides the Greeters .....is when they ask, "did you find everything you needed?" I usually give them a list of about 2 or 3 items that they used to sell but don't anymore, and that always dumbfounds them. :P

.....no Gillette razor blades, no Crest Regular toothpaste (all they have are designer pastes), no waterbed conditioner, no 5W30 Mobil oil, ................

They do sell oil at the lowest price.

Plenty of idiot customers. My favorite type are the ones who want to argue with you over stuff. One lady had a cheeseburger in one hand and was looking to buy a DC/AC adapter for a dvd player, and I show her the one she needs for $25, and she says I don't want that one, so she picks up a in car PS2 adapter for $15, and says I want this one. Just told her to try automotive. 10 minutes later I find her McDonalds bag and trash behind boxes.
Theft is pretty bad too. People steal anything it seems, the cheap amplifiers from the car audio department, CD'*, pretty much anything not screwed down. Plenty of other things, too, but at least its a job.
