Whet the heck does that have to do with it? Trust me, I was a better driver at 17 then most of the guys I went to school with.
Oh yes. Me, of all guys, a chauvinist. I'm sorry if it came off sounding that way, but I wasn't trying to make a chauvinistic comment. Just a realistic one based on this particular situation. Thus why I put 17 year olds being the first, and foremost problem, and only added in the girls comment as exasperating the situation. No sh*t either gender could have done something stupid like that. But you're giving what were obviously a couple of immature, bratty high school girls (the extremely girly-girl type) cars with 600+ hp......nothing good can come of this. Would a couple of guys have crashed just about as easily? Sure. But come on......are you really going to argue that there wasn't a slightly greater chance that a couple of 17 year old boys may have faired better than a couple of "princesses" (again, I only use that comment because they were most likely a couple of snotty, rich kids, and would probably refer to themselves as princesses) when trying to handle that kind of power? You may have been better at daily driving when you were 17 than most boys, but were you an extremely rich, prissy girl trying to show off a $2 million automobile to your friends by street racing an 11 second car? Again, I’m not trying to sound chauvinistic. I’m talking about this particular case, and the situation surrounding it.

As for the price of the car, original sticker price was around $670K. But due to the extremely low production (349, I believe it was, can't remember if they built the additional 50), the cars were instantly worth more than that after they sold out on account of there not being enough to go around for all the extremely rich folks that just HAD to have one.

Well, even though I'm almost 19 (aboout the same age as those girls), I'm not mad about the comments made here. You guys are right, look at the type of girl that got into the driver'* seat. Daddy'* little girl whom he spoils. Most likely taking lots of things for granted, they got into the car thinking they had it going on and drove like it (i almost added a name but didn't!!! :P ). So if you really think about it, the comments in here aren't all that bad. I understand what'* being said. If someone offered to let me drive a car like that, for one I don't see how they look cool at all I love my car bc it'll have a better chance of saving my life in a crash, and two, I'd be scared sh*tless of wrecking someone else'* exspensive toy. I only sharred this story bc it was emailed to me and I laughed at the pictures ofthe two cars bc they're so expensive and every one drools over them (in nicw shape) but I think they're so ugly! I guess I just don't get it... I don't even care about getting in them and being able to go really fast comaperred to my Bonne, and in less time! DEATHTRAPS that'* what they are lol !!!

Since you brought it up and it'* your thread, I knew a guy who owned a Lamb. Diablo. He drove it in Ft. Lauderdale sometimes and let his expensive secretaries drive him around in it (he was blind). They tore up transmission after transmission trying to get that thing to stay somewhat within speed limits in a city. $25,000-40,000 repairs every time. I guess some people have more money than they know what to do with...

IMO, if you want a sleek foreign, mid-engine, go-fast car that can actually be driven here, get a Lotus Elise or Exige. Tons of fun and SOMEWHAT/more affordable at $40,000-$60,000.

How many people can fit into the yellow one? That one looks like it can fit a couple people in the back. Not so comfortably but still. Two in the red and 3 in the yellow, that'* my guess!

LOL I kept looking at the pic and I think you're definately right. Maybe they were in the other two cars that the two girls hit! Confusing, but I just found the pics amusing (as sick as that sounds)!
