The w00t thread
w00t: I have a detail today that is gonna be easy-peasy! I just gotta present colors for some official function.
Hey Mouse,
I'm missing the panhandle today...was stationed at Eglin from 1978-1981. Been back in Minnesota since. Today....snow flurries. Brrrr.
During my stint there I was driving a 1965 Catalina with a 389 auto. I had inherited it from the grandparents. At the time it had 37K actual miles. I recall burying the speedo on highway 98 a couple of times.

Woot to old Pontiacs. I had the 64 Catalina 2Dr w/the 389 auto. That thing flew by 120 like it was nothing and continued to the MPH lettering at the bottom of the gauge. Wide Track and did it very stable. Never did wind that thing to redline. Just a kid and things going by so fast it got me to nervous.
