Default W O O H O O !

Despite my HORRIBLE day with the Zilla (read all about it in the curses topic in General Chat), my day is now complete.

First beer of Batch #1 is MIGHT FINE! Perfect carbonation, excellent taste, VERY SMOOTH (so much for sippin' beer), and was well worth the wait!

I might just have to sample batch #2 tonight as well, and brew another case!

driverjohn is going to have a very hard time staying sober this weekend. Good thing the beer is ready. I'm out of Vodka and Peanut Butter.

That, Sir, is DriverJohn, and my infamous Boxer, Bo.

I don't really name my beer. It ferments for about 4-5 weeks in a keg, then goes into bottles for another 6 weeks minimum. I'm setting aside a 6-pack from each case for WCBF06 this summer.

I'm brewing PREMIUM high-percentage beer for about 12-15 bucks a case. (including caps and all supplies.....sometimes cheaper if I order stuff in bulk). I re-use my own yeast from each batch. It goes in the fridge in liquid form, labeled for each type of beer it came from.
