Can this be stickied on the front page, or maybe put a link near the existing banner?

The problem with stickies is they tend to be passed by as people scan the the Section Thread list, especially if nobody is talking in them (like Polls) and they don't highlight. A simple post in a thread highlights it and brings it back to the top. I have been watching the thread and was almost ready to do it, but Raptor has an itchy trigger finger. I'm not about to code in a link for an expiring Poll. I have more serious things to deal with in the time I have here. It'* summertime and I have a life away from the keyboard. It has 23 votes in 3 days already and a clear leader. I think it'* doing well.

Apologies if this has been mentioned on previous posts, but is the intention for the forum to focus just on GM cars?

Yes, two Sections remaining here, were part of the original GMF. We were undecided about whether to remove Saturn and GMC. They have been given a couple months and not moving forward. They are slated to be removed. One thing important to Forums is identity and focus. And I think our Forum in both forms had little to do with/offer Saturn or GMC owners. I rather stay a bit on the lean side with Sections and keep the Forum centered on cars similar to the Bonneville.

I really like the first one!!! I really like that GTO though!!!
