Vista RC1
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvist...y/preview.mspx
2nd paragraph - click this
"If you acquired Windows Vista RC1 with a magazine or other publication, you will need to register and receive a Product Key before you can install the product."
then select language
scroll to bottom, select location, go
sign in... etc.. if you cant get it from there, you dont deserve it
you will need to burn it onto a DVD, so if you dont have a DVD burner you are screwed... the file is 2.5GB and takes a while to download

No i haven't found a way to do two different ones.
Yes you can now get a wide screen wallpaper to go across both screens.
Its not the video card that controls that, cuz when i had Linux on there i could do two different backgrounds and all sorts of cool things

ive got a copy of it w/ key sitting right here next to my comp, but i dont really want to install it on my laptop.
I'm tempted to use it since I have such trouble with XP booting sometimes, but what I'm worried about is driver support.. I'm going to assume that XP driver'* won't work on VISTA like XP/2000 drivers were for the most part, interchangable. That'* a correct assumption, right? If so, I'm feeling kind of lazy to go and find new drivers for all my hardware for my custom built PC, not to mention I'm leary that my software won't work either. (I know for a fact that my HP printer I just bought WON'T work on VISTA because HP won't make a driver for it even though it'* a new printer. grrr!)
