Default Valve problems with a '92 Olds 98?

Do the '92 Oldsmobile 98s have a problem with this, like the '92 N/A Bonnies do? Thanks

It'* going to be hard to find the "perfect" car in your price range for what you want. There is always going to be SOMETHING problematic in a particular line of cars.

With the backing of a strong forum like this, I say go for something that looks nice and has nearly no problems. From there, the folks here can help you with the day to day stuff.

Just my $.02....

Well, those valve problems are a bitch, from what I've heard...

Anyone know of the specifics of this problem? Thanks again, guys

How much to the cost to fix if I bring it to a mechanic? I might not be able to get it up to you or have my dad fix it if I need the car and it'* undrivable. Thanks

Oh yeah, and how long would a car with 88k miles have until having this problem, rough estimate? Thanks again, man

My sisters old '92 Olds 88 (obviously EGR less) had 193k on it when we sold it like 2 or 3 years ago and the thing ran like it was brand new, didn't use any oil, didn't smoke at all. It did not seem to have any valve problems to me...the thing actually still got really good gas mileage.
