Default URGH.

I'm not doing so well. I'm really stressed out. I don't know what to do. I can't go anywhere. I'm broke. I can't make money. This is some kind of sick catch-22. I don't have the tools to fix my car, and don't have the money for the parts anyways. And I find myself in this constant thought of should I be putting money into this old car? I mean it wouldn't be so bad if the dang front unibody wasn't rotting away, but it is, and so I'm wondering if its even worth it to fix it. But the problem is, I don't have the money to fix it so I CAN sell it, and if I just junk it, then I'm left with nothing all over again. Now the way I see it, I should fix it and sell it, but I can't seem to find any good deals in the local area for a good car. My mother has even MORE financial difficulties and my father doesn't think he should have to help me. And even though I am the person that always offers to do things for others asking nothing in return, for the first time ever, I am asking them for something and they all just make every excuse in the world.

So what would you do?

Look for a job you can walk or ride a bike to.

Im mean its either bust your a$$ or sit there and do nothing.

Hard times mean time to work even harder :(

even if its a 6$ a hour job, its money right?

I would just worry about making sure your car is operational for now. That'll allow you to work and save for a new car, sell it while it'* still ok, etc...

What'* exactly wrong with it?

I can honestly say that I've been in your shoes. (Actually, I've been much worse off.) And I biked my way to work. When I was a bit younger (22, 23yo) I roller bladed to work.

Actually, it'* great exercise, and you wake up refreshed, and a clearer head from the exercise. It'* a great benefit.

Life'* not always a peice of cake and sometimes you just have to do whatever you can to make enough money for what you need. There'* no job that'* shameful if it'* what you have to do to get by. You have to do what you have to do. Where there'* a will, there'* a way.

I did that as a side job one summer too. I enjoyed it a lot. Did things from vettes (not my dad'*) to infinitis to suvs. Was a great way to spend the morning/mid day before going to work.

I am going through that right now. I have to ride a bus with my daughter to get her to school, then walk the rest of the way to work this morning. And, oh yeah, there is snow on the ground. And, even better, I just put about $ 800 or so into it in the last 6 weeks! Believe me, I feel you pain.
But yeah, you do what you have to do. If you need to, take a few days to feel bad, that is normal. hen, clear your head and get going. When you get everything figured out, you feel better knowing that you handled the situation. In the mean time, for what it is worth to you, I'll pray for you.

HANG IN THERE. It sucks. I feel for you, but I think it'* something we all go through now and then. That doesnt make it any better, I know....but just do all you can, and before you know it, it WILL be all behind you.

What doesnt kill you makes you stronger, bud!
