Think about this...

In a fighter aircraft, there are amazingly powerful computers that interpret your movements with the stick and persuade the aircraft to obey you, by way of complicated hydraulics and electric actuators. The signals travel through literally miles of cables, wires, circuits, hoses, and layer upon layer of software.

In an aerobatic plane, the stick is linked to the control surfaces through many feet of high-strength cable, multitudinous linkages, and a few precisely machined pulleys.

A stunt parachute is controlled by two small ropes that affect the front corners of the fabric.

A birdman suit is controlled by your arms and legs. YOU are the control surface...

Aside from not having that nice aluminum cocoon wrapped around you, which do you think you'd rather trust during high-speed precision maneuvers in?

Gives new term to the meaning "lifting body", doesn't it?

But does anybody find it odd.....that there are no video shots of them LANDING???

Gives another new term to the meaning..."stop, drop, and roll"!!!

Hey, sandrock, maybe you'd be more at home with THIS.
Looks like fun to me...
