The sockeye salmon run this year is incredible
15-20 million

We scored 30 of them but the whole family got 200 total. All delivered at the same time so we had to gut and fillet immediately to process.
Each fish weighs about 6 lbs.
It was quite a scene with two large bath tubs full to the brim.
The gulls and eagles had a feast on the remains.

We canned most and the rest are smoked. Only a few were baked. Mmmmmmm

Sorry but yuk, I hate Salmon. Salmon fishing can be fun though. I give mine away. Biggest I caught was a 12lb-er.
