Default UGH!

So I'm sitting here in my college class "Intro To Computers"
UGH!
I worked for 3 companies now, doing network and pc troubleshooting and repair, and i've built my own PC. Now here i sit learning what a shortcut is, and how to get to "My Documents"
I was going to try and test out, but they use Office 2007, which i've never used, so i wouldn't be able to test out. but they don't get to office until about 2/3 the way through the semester, but i can't skip because we get points for attendance (and Pop Quizes)
So here i sit surfing BC

I had the same thing in my graphics class

I came into the class ready to learn deep into Photoshop and Illustrator, and our first lesson was on how to use the mouse!!!
