I want to run the LSS bone stock. I want to chart my progress as I mod. Are there any tracks that are still open within 200 miles of the Twin Cities area?

I highly doubt it. Closest 1/4 to MPLS area would either be Brainerd or Rock Falls, I'd guess Rock Falls is closer but they are closed.

I'm with Seth on that one. Now if you want just a general idea, me and a buddy of mine know of a lonely closed 1/2 mi stretch of road. But if that'* not gonna work I think you're gonna have to wait until spring.

They were going to build a track in Owatonna but the city did something about the zoning that prevented it. Owatonna is a pretty sweet spot for a track in So. MN, right in between Mankato-Rochester-MPLS area.

According to the news page, they've already secured land, but aren't releasing the location but it'* "In the Metro area" Have to wait and see, but they're talkin about summer of 06 opening. Couldn't find that survey though.
