nothing more I hate is people that make serious statements/claims when they have no idea what they are talking about or really have an answer, especially in automotive related situation.

Ideas get shot down on this Forum from practical experience. If you get shot down, it'* because someone already tried it, or someone already knows it won't work. We shoot things down to prevent you from making our old mistakes.

If you don't have the bawls to raise the issue in some other manner than a childish jab, live with it and deal with it. If you don't raise the issue, it'* your problem, and nobody else'*.

How about some brainstorming from you guys that claim to know something about these cars? Instead of asking if I'm for real, tell me what could possibly go wrong and ways i could avoid possibly messing stuff up. It would have been a pretty fun project. Im not trying to show anyone up. It was clearly explained why that project would not work. It wouldn't be feasible to encourage someone to do something that has no real benefit, and could possibly cause problems.

Should we really allow members to hook up leaf blowers to their intakes in hopes of gaining a couple horsepower, when there are safer more efficient ways of doing it that have already been proven? You asked if it was a stupid idea, so some shred of your conscience thought it could be.

No one can stop you from trying out your ideas. If you didn't go ahead and try it then you must have been convinced that it was not worth it, and you have no one to blame but yourself for not giving it a shot.
