Tool Brand Poll!
Most of my tools are either the cheap walmart brand (got a set for my last birthday) or Stanley (toolbox full of Stanley'* for Christmas) but whenever something breaks, I buy Craftsman. I love the lifetime warranty, though I've only used it once, most of the Craftsman tools I have are older than I am.

I have been using the Stanley tools for a long time....The same goes for Craftsman.. Never had any trouble with either.. My Impact is a Twin Hammer Kobalt<---- Love it to death

I have an assortment of Herbrand, Craftsman, Proto, Snap On, Mac, Husky, Canadian Tire Brand, Greenlee, Dewalt, Matabo, Milwakee, Desoutter, Dotco and the list goes on. I really do like the quality of Snap On but have a hard time justifying the price. I plan on passing on my tools to my kids so I guess you could say "Maymytoolsliveforever.
My dream tool box would likely be Snap On, but can not afford it nor would I want to pay $18,500.00 for it. One day, hopefully I'll find either a good used one or settle for a nice Mac Box.

You guys are too funny, Don..............Bill had the misfortune of visiting one of the tool rooms and let'* just say that it was so disorganized that I was afraid he would trip over something. I've just finished a shed so that I can store a couple more Greenlee Job Boxes, and a bunch of shelves this way I can at least I can clean up some of the garage and be able to park Cath'* car in it.
I think we've gone a bit off topic here. As for the brand of tools, as long as it'* got a lifetime warranty you're half way there. I must say though that I love the feel and reliability of certain brands like Dewalt or Snap on, I think that they should have a 50 % off Snap On sale once a year. Yeeeeee Haaaaaaa.
Bill, Don, I wish you both lived closer, you can borrow any tool any day. By the way, here is a slightly cleaned up version of the one room Bill saw.
By the way Boosty, Cathy would agree with you, but I beg to differ.

You should see the way it was before I started cleaning up.

Good Goobedy goo!
MaymyBonnylive, what on earth does your family buy for the man who has 2 of everything
parts not available anymore? no problem you can just build a new from raw stock.
too bad you dont have a 40'x50' or so to put all that in, then it would be heaven on earth
