Bring it down to WCBF. I have 3 welders.

You plant your butt on the part that fell off and knees on the part that is still there. Comfortable as all get out. Easy on the back.

Wife never did like it, so I might be able to take it apart and bring it down in July and surprise her with it all welded up.

I saw a chair like that used in a movie I once saw late on Cinemax

John, we can send it back up in several colors, fully clearcoated, re-upholstered, and zillamotorsports stickers on it.

Um, you don't even need to weld that...go to the harware store and pick up some pipe brackets. A little drilling, and some self tapping screws, and it'* good as new.

Excellent idea. Will do that today and **** the wife off. She hates that chair.

I think she'* the one who broke it, but I don't dare mention her excess weight on pain of severe personal injury.
