Default Too Many Pills?

So today at work my back was killing me so i took two ibeprofuen (sp?)
about 2 hours later i went home and it was still really hurting so i took 3 more.
After i took the last 3 i thought i would check the label to see how much your actually supposed to take, and the bottle says no more than 2 in a 4 hour period.
Is it bad that i took five in a two hour period?
Taking in the fact that i am 6'3" and 250lbs. So i figure i can take more than the avarage person.

I'm about you're size and nothing works better than 3-4 asprin. Oh yea, those warnings are BS i've noticed. Like with NyQuil they say no more than a cap full. I had a bad cold and that did jack. The next night I chugged half the bottle and slept like a baby. Back in football we all took 6-8 tylonol or ibeprofuen before the game to numb pain and never had problems.

I think the main concern ( I may be wrong) is making your blood too thin if you habitually take large doses. I take 800mg for sciatica, sometimes for up to a week. Aspirin also works pretty good.

Hey, your ok. what is really bad is when you do it for a repeated time frame. Or if you are having prexisting liver or kidney problems. You may have made your liver work real hard and your kidneys freaked a little but your not going to die. Just be sure and dont make it a habit. ( Im training to be an RN)

Where does your back hurt and what kinda pain. Sounds like you need a muscle relaxer and some sort of stronger pain med. I had similiar situation. ( extream pain) I got Flexeril and Vicadin.. It did the job.

Its my lower back... the pain only really happens when i bend over or move in a non normal way... like right now i am sitting in my lazboy and i have no pain, but if i get up it hurts...
and i have "Scheuermann'* Kyphosis" which is an outward curvature of the spine so i get small back pains all the time, but this is worse than normal...

Thanks for all the help guys!!!
