So how the hell is it going peeps. Wassup w/your day? I'm trying to work myself up to ignoring my chest cold and getting out and tapping my Maple forest for sap today. The time has come to start my syrup season. Here'* a link to last years adventure.

FWIW I met him last night and Fab is a good guy overall.

I generally produce 8-16 gallons of it depending on the weather. Guess that'* a little more than some. Synthetic garbage can't compare and we stay comfortably medicated throughout the process. I actually enjoy the diversion, it'* kind of a spring rite around here.

LOL Bill. I was going to put up the Maple Camp pictures anyways and thought it a good lead into it. Temperatures up to 29 and climbing. Time to hike up my redneck overall britches and get the day started.

Prolly be Sat or Monday before I have the electricity/internet up at the camp Bill. Way behind this year, have to shovel the parameter of the camp of snow and get the tree'* tapped first. Rain coming for two days then it looks like a week straight of good sap running weather. High 30 days and low 20 nights.
