I was reading this topic and I have to say something already, pretty much everybody except for maybe will would NOT stand a chance against a Mitsu Evo VIII even in stock form. You guys can call it rice and slag it but that car would dominate pretty much every car in this site in almost any category except for maybe comfortability and gas mileage. Making fun of a civic is one thing but dont kid yourselfs for a second about a Mitsu Evo.

Unless I'm horrbly mistaken, this isn't a valid comparison. The Dodge Daytona (and the Superbird) had a huge wing, but it didn't cover the rear window. The EVO, I believe, is the one with the multilevel wing across the rear window. My be the beginning of the law being changed (doubtful) or the wing being recalled if this becomes a habit and not just a cop in a bad mood, or a driver with a bad attitude. Gotta remember, your attitude when you get stopped counts for almost as much, if not more, than what you got stopped for. You tick off the cop, and he can find all kinds of things wrong... Trust me, I've had the oppurtunity to do it..

It is DOT approved, it'* just a painted rear spoiler, and it does give downforce. It'* a rally car remember.

MY mistake I apologize but what my point was is that people were slagging this car and the majority of people on this site wouldnt stand a chance against it. About the wing, the EVO VIII doesnt have a double wing just a single one that doesnt stand any higher then the rest of the civics out there.
