But seriously, that really does help. Have the paycheck direct deposited and part of it automatically withdrawn to a money market account or better yet, mutual fund. You might be surprised to find that once you know money is earmarked for a longer-term prupose...and it'* already saved...you won't touch it until it'* time for the intended purpose. And you won't miss it.
