Yea that is a nice bike. I'm a mountain biker and own a few mountain bikes. Ellsworth Joker, Raleigh M80, and a few other ones no one has ever heard of.

It was one of those things where I was 17ish and needed a new bike and just figured that I would get a nicer one and have it last a LONG time instead of going cheap and buying another one sometime down the road. I dont really predict ever out growing the bike. I need to lube it up and re-adjust the gears, but she shifts firmer than my car.

Yeah I thought those bezels looked different, but I wasn't sure.
I've seen a lot smaller halogen projectors for fogs of course, but I haven't seen any smaller HID headlamp projectors that I can think of. You mentioned size being an issue, so I just assumed you went with the smallest ones you could find. I haven't been looking into it nearly as long as you though.

I went with what was a good projector with the intention of making it work. And I will make it work, eventually I am looking into doing a full fiberglass HL back. which would be a lot of work but could also save me a lot of work because I can then integrate brackets and all the necessary pieces to make adjustment easy. And it could turn out really cool. (could also be a flop but I wont think about that)

On that shelf you can see a set of bosch H3 mini'*. Sure are cute little projectors. Really wide too. Lens is only and inch and a half or so.

"Fiberglass HL back" as in surrounding the projector and having it visible from the front?
Trying to fill in the area around the projector would be a big challenge as well as making it look good with the rest of the HL assembly. No doubt it'd smooth things out nicely, but it'd be hard to duplicate a true chrome look to make it all blend in I would think. It does look decent how you have it sitting now though if that'* what you are intending.

Got plans for projector fogs too?

I already have one projector fog, with the 2nd one waiting to go in. You can catch a glimpse of the one in my siggy. The H3 minis will either become another set of fogs (either modded and mounted down below or mounted into the HL itself) or it will become a projector turn LED turnsignal.

by fiberglass HL back I mean everything from the glass back, custom. possibily keep some sort of modified HL bracket for ease of mounting onto the car, but other than that, make everything else. Maybe paint the visiable part black or white. (maybe get it color matched to my car)

you can see some photochops I made a long time ago, that sort of simulate the look.

also while I was in the shower I came up with a decent mounting/HL scheme/idea so we'll see how that turns out as it develops

Because everyone loves pictures:
Bosch H3 mini. One lens is clean and the other is dirty. Picture was taken to show how important clean optics are. If you cant tell which is which then I am the wrong person to help you.

Fog light that is currently on my car: (note: for the next 2 pictures the camera settings were the same)

Did some modding to the same fog, this one currently is waiting for me to install it.....

dillcc: If you ever come in contact with E46 shrouds/bezels be VERY careful. You can NOT handle them with your bare hands, you must wer gloves or you will destroy the chrome. Just thought I would give you a warning since most people dont know and end up having to paint them. :?

modifying the bulb holder, modifying a H9 bulb and figuring out a new way for the bulb to attach. IMO, not worth the effort. A HID bulb in that blazer fog projector yields much better output and spread.
