You guys are missing the point, I think, if I understand the rules right. As long as you follow the rules, you can sell a "mystery" item, and get whatever people will pay, as long as you do not misrepresent what you are selling. That means no false claims, but, then again, if you make NO claims, what'* the crime? It is, in effect, a form of gambling. Seems to me we should all take advantage of it, and sell all our crap this way, lol At least what we have that'* worth, say, under half a grand or so... we'd end up getting more out of it than it'* worth purely because of people'* insatiable curiousity! Gotta love the human race...

heck just sell a pile of snow that is shaped like a car i bet you would get a buyer be like "it could be a pile of snow or a real car or mabe a mystery under the pile of snow that doesnt even resemble a car happy bidding" haha that will come next.

If you look in the "bizarre" category you will find everything from old socks, to unknown liquids, to mystery boxes and rocks shaped like funny objects. Ebay is full of the weirdos.
