yeah. 6 months is ridiculous. at the very least if you have a ridiculous expiration period, put it on the card or something. send notification, dont just expect the customer to use it immediately.

hell, i got a $50 gift card from kohls for working there 5 years and it said on the card to redeem WITHIN 6 months or its forfeitted, and i still waited until right at 6 months to redeem it.

Tiger says their cards say it....

I would have needed the card to have seen that. Anyhow.. 6 months in my mind is a short period and that aims to have cards expire w/o people using them.

If one day this vid card shows...it'll go in my pc and my first purchase with Tiger is my last.

I must say that i have heard many bad stories about Tiger, but my one and only shopping experience with them was terrific

However, based on a large majority of feedback i have heard from people, i dont think ill be shopping there again

Never shopped at Tiger, but have had problems with gift cards expiring. I personally think that is crap. They took your money for the card, so they owe product(*) in return. Pretty simple concept for my feeble mind.

I also believe that too many places are using the expiring gift card as a way to get money for nothing (..and chicks for free...).

It ain't neccessarily more expensive B&M than mail/online ordering by the time you add on shipping and waiting and whatnot. Depends on what you want, and how much you want it.

And you can all kiss my hairy white ***!!!
