Think I went off the deep end? (not Bonney related)
Bought a wrecked 1992 Chevy G20 conversion van. 350 fuel injected, 700r4, more lights than NYC, velvet on every surface. Caved in behind the drivers door and the floor is buckled. I was interested in it for the engine/transmission/PCM and a few interior goodies for my Silverado. My wife thinks I am ready for heavy sedation LOL. any other parts car guys here that can relate?

Looks like you and I have a lot in common where the driveway is concerned. Have you had any trouble with your Malibu yet? Mine has been pretty high maintence considering its newness.
heater blower
alternator
cam postion sensor
blown head gasket and intake gaskets
battery (to be expected)
CV joints are clunking and the tire shop told me I will soon need new tie rod ends
rotors
car only has 92k on it
As opposed to the 183k Bonney
2 alternators
battery
water pump
egr valve
IAC motor

well it IS a 2003 but I have had the front calipers either changed or rebuilt twice already and when they go they take the brakes with them so this time I put ceramic pads hoping it will last longer, the fuel level sensor inthe tank had to get changed last week cause it was screwed, the rear driver door unlocks when it wants to 9 sound like the power lock motor is getting seazed or soemthing, had one headlight changed cause there was about 1/2" of water in it.
I think that is aobut it so far, oh yeah I already had to change the tires on it. I changed the tires at 40,000 KMS not miles and it currently has almost 62,000KMS on it. I dirve about 5,000kms a month for work but it is pretty much all highway.
OH and how can I forget the hood latch keeps freezing on me.

about the same usage here. Mine is my mobile office (copier/printer tech) and it sees LOTS of highway. What do you do (aside from the sales rep duties listed in your sig?)

Well I don't really sell anything. More like vnedor support for stores, to basically make sure they are ordering stuff from the main warehouse, since they are mostly corporate owned. Besides that I do some websites on the side, not much though. Trying to find a job locally that pays good ( yeah right).
Hope to get my 69 back on the road this year, it has been sitting for 2 years while I was out of town.
