Default Thin client.... Yay or nay?

I am looking for something for my sisters to use on the weekends. They only use my computer for Myspace and other sites. Would this suit their needs?

I saw this in the desciption

"In fact this unit will plug right into your network and can be used as a web browsing terminal immediately!"

I was told that I can just plug a ethernet connection in off of my router, and it will work, as the Client has Windows and IE built in.

Thin client computing relies on a network of thin clients that are connected to a central server. Thin clients can be traditional PCs, wireless devices, or pared-down workstations with limited capabilities (“dumb terminals”). This is one of the advantages of thin client computing: greater flexibility in terms of hardware. Thin clients operate on a main frame paradigm—the majority of instructions and sessions come directly from a central server. The thin client workstations simply receive, display, and relay commands with a central server, letting the server itself process all of the commands.

Yes this will browse the interenet, just like the handheld windows ce devices, but will it run the rest of the fancy browser stuff? (Flash, streaming media ect.) that I can't answer.

What about other apps they run? This doesn't have a harddrive in it, loading a new app on its 32mb flash won't be easy, and then you're stuck with windows ce apps since you don't have a server.

I went ahead and ordered one. Heck, for $23.99, you can't beat it for brand new. As I said, all it is needed for is for my sister to check her myspace and her emails, besides, she is only 14, so it'* all she needs.
