Remember the GMC motorhomes from 1973-1978? Well, I was reading through a 1973 Operator'* Manual, like you do, and I stumbled across page 46. Seriously, check it out:

. . . and then for extra fun "do not winterize your motorhome with fuel oil or kerosene" .

Anyone want to follow behind that motorhome? Geez that tailpipe might smell a little funny !! LOL

It does say "up to five gallons of waste per hour" so just imagining how much exhaust an Olds 455 pumps out in an hour when it is doing enough work to have 900-degree exhaust, five gallons doesn't seem like that much. Still, I was:

- Shocked that someone did this at all, then wrote it up in a manual.
- Even more amazed (than I already was) at the level of thought that went into designing this motorhome back in the early-70'* .
