That said, I'd rather deal with the small weekly cost of fuel than a huuuuuge battery bill every year or so.
Definitely would do better with a small GASOLINE engine. Hell, it would get about 100 mpg.
Hell, with only 40 hp? You'd only need like an 800cc engine for that. Heck, put something bigger in there, give it like 100 and it would be fast AND efficent.
