Default Thanks Magnavox!

So last Christmas my parents bought me a 200 watt home theater system for my room. Worked good, but about a month ago everything started sounding like crap and it would turn down the volume on its own. After a few hours on the phone I got a address and everything and sent it back, they wouldn't pay for shipping back. So I pay it myself, $25 (this will payoff soon)

Now 2 weeks later I come home and I see something sitting on by the front door. Its my new surrond sound from Magnavox! First thing I noticed was this this was a Philips unit. So I open it up and the speakers are bigger than my old ones. So I read the box, and they sent me a 700 watt home theater system Must be because Philips own Magnavox now. But I'm still happy I got a 700W $350 system in exchange for a crappy one.

Now I got everything all connected and it sounds great!

Kinda like sending in your 30gb harddrive for repair and getting it replaced with a 300gb unit. kewl!

Sounds like a deal to me. In most cases since items are discontinued, they usualy have to honor the warranty even though they may not have your exact model in stock, so Kudos for you!!! Crank it heavy and **** off the neighbors!!

hmm, I took in my iRiver CD player (I think iRiver is non-existant now...), and they sent me the top-end model with the car kit . Mine was all scratched up and in pretty bad shape, and now I have a perfect example of the great idea that was Mp3 cd players.
This is the one they gave me:

This is the one I actually bought:
