Default test drove the new Impala SS.......WOW

Decided to test drive the new impala SS just to see how it compares. Well all I can say is wow. The power is available everywhere and dod i dare say it has too much power for that car.

The car would kill my GXP and destroy any SSEi I have ever seen or heard of. Move over N* and 3800s you have been owned

Before you guys start combating me drive a 06 SS and find out.

You know what I am just on a speed high right now so please bear with me...

I agree its meaner looking but I dont know if its faster. I think that new SS does 0-60 under 6 seconds like 5.6 or something. But I do wish the 95-96 bodystyle hung around longer

The new Impy is .1 seconds faster then the GP GXP. Its a serious car, while looking...not so serious.

Chevy done it right. Personally I like it more then the 96 SS, the 96 reminds me of the Buick Roadmaster. This new SS is refined, more compact and really fast.

Its a true sleeper. Put the Impala LTZ next to an SS and its hard to tell which one is which, but once you light it up, the questions end.

The new Impala SS has 300sumthing hp, and still gets 28 mpg highway. That rules.

I still like the 90s bodystyle, though. I've always wanted one.

the new Impala is significantly faster than the older V8 version. I hear through the grapevine that the interior quality/noise level is dissapointing though for a new car.

Not to mention the aftermarket for the LT1 is pretty large and since it is already a V8, going with an LS1 would probably not be hard.

LS1'* get great mpg too
