My dad has an '02 4 door GTP and that car moves!!! I took it to 95+MPH without even breaking a sweat when chasing a 300zx on the freeway... needless to say my dad doesn't let me drive his car too often...
My dad has an '02 4 door GTP also...and his also moves. It is the one in my sig. I took it to 85 once...scared the shit out of me so I let off...of course 85 isn't even quite an 1/8 mile. I have driven that car, hmmm let me think, about twice, EVER. I'll stick to my high 14 second car. Not that I wouldn't want a mid 12 second car, just that I can't afford the tickets or tires.

Yeah, but I am sure that your dad's moves at a little bit of a faster pace than my dad's GTP. I think that I'm going to take it up to the track sometime soon, as the temps are starting to get cooler. If I do, I'll make sure to let you know how ours runs stock, my guess would be low 15's or very high 14's if I get lucky.

Jason...i think you took my earlier post personal..didn't mean for you to, just used your name because you posted next.

being a woman, and seeing posts of women referring to cars in "colors" after my posts gives me some sort of ground to feel offended. Especially since that's the LAST thing I do and I have been a member here a LOT longer than any of you who have posted on this topic. I've been around long enough for you to know that's not the case. Sorry if anyone is offended I'm offended, but, then, that just wouldn't make sense now would it!?

  But, I was just kiddin'!!

Well keep in mind we weren't going after you, it was more of a general statement of our culture.

ok  maybe i over reacted...i was just like wtf..i don't post in a long time, then i finally post again and they are advertising like i one of the blonde big boob bimbos that say that car is soooo cute because it's small and green! hehe
Sexism is a lot like racism...you can't really expect to make a comment without someone reading into it differently or even taking it the right way and taking total offence...

A good friend of mine's wife can tell you year, make, model, trim of just about any car ever made. I have other friend's who are females, who are also mechanics. I think stereo-types are rediculous and only show a lack of depth of character, and I jest about it to show my disdain for such thinking. I meant no offense...

I can tell you for sure than when I drive the GTP it is stiff and feels a lot like a sportscar, whereas the SSEi isn't as stiff, but it doens't feel any less stable, you can just definately tell you are tagging along another 300lbs and a much bigger car. Both the SSEi and GTP are very nice cars, but honestly, I would rather have an SSEi just because they are much more luxiourious, and when you compare them there are a LOT of little things the SSEi has that the GTP doesn't. Don't get me wrong, a GTP is a VERY nice car, it is just that the SSEi is MUCH nicer IMO.

What he said.. Really I looked @ both and I use the inflater-my friends get a lot of flats for some reason. + the seats just seemed -eh off - not as bucket as I think a car like that should have. In the end the SSEi is and was made to be a much nicer car and more toys it has the more I use so yea if you like a lot of go and not much else get the GTP. So I got the 2000 SSEi.
