I've been looking into getting a bike lately so I went to check a few out. When I got to the best shop I could think of, I noticed that the owner was my old next door neighbor!! He told me to warm up the tires for him on a bike that he just got in. I told him "Sure, why not?" What do I see infront of me but a silver 2000 Suzuki Hayabusa GSX1300R!!! He asked for my license in exchange for the keys, and I fired it up. Well I had to drive in 3rd in traffic cuz the darn thing wanted to lift up on me. I find my go fast road and twisted her to 100mph in 5th the whole time. I shifted to 6th and really dipped into it this time. Wow!! I had to hold on tighter and close the vents on my helmet because it pulled like a monster all the way to 150mph. So after my 45 minute drive, I went back to the dealership and I could barely move (it was cooold at those speeds). To bad the rent would never let me get a bike :( . Wow, just had to share my ride with you all. I'll get some pics when I go up again after the Holiday...

bikes are nice but you have to respect them like a gun cuz when the fire your done

I'll bet it was a rush! It sounds like you rode like the wind. My brother was a biker dude and he took me for a ride on his Harley and did a wheelie through an intersection in Chicago. All I saw was the sky. There is no greater rush than to feel that kind of power. I've given up my biker girl days because I am older and not as fearless as I once was but luckily for me I have plenty of memories. I can't wait to see the pics.
