I've got Samba, installed, configured, all that crap. But when I right click "My Computer" and select "Map Network Drives" nothing happens, but if I have other programs open and do Alt+Tab, I see "Map Network Drives" as one of the open programs. Never have I seen a GUI for it.

if u have it configured correctly maybe the problem is with ur windows system

It is with my windoze system.

try mapping drives from the command prompt like this

net use (drive to be maped to): \\(net name)\(shared folder)

or try mapping with the ip addresses, that usually works for me when typing in the names doesn't work
